We use it and have done so now for six or seven years. It is a very powerful product and is much more user friendly and flexible than Synon in my opinion. A programmer can become productive with Progen in a matter of days where Synon takes weeks, months, even up to a year in some cases. Progen is a good product but their tech support has actually gotten worse in the last couple of years. Not that it is any worse than any other company but they used to have much better than average support. I think the problem is that they have grown so much that their support staff consists of new hires who don't know the product nearly as well as the older guys (the veterans were probably promoted ;-). Anyway, it is still an excellent product. 73, Jack Mullins Sun Ergoline P.O. I can only image that it has gotten better. In the unusual case that you actually have to look at the generated code, the in-line documentation is quite good. It sure beats raw Synon code. -mark +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
