     I used it for several months at a previous employer. Great support, 
     good flexibility. As I recall, the code was very legible compared 
     to SYNON. True, internal work fields were sometimes a bit cryptic, 
     though they followed a naming convention that was not too hard to 
     figure out. 
     
     One feature I really liked about Progen was that you can modify the 
     templates to add user code-points. All in all, it was a solid tool 
     and well worth the money. Make sure you get the database designer 
     tool (DBGEN?) as well.

Used it about 2 1/2 - 3 yrs ago for about 3 months.  Not bad, fairly easy to 
get started. From what I remember though you didn't want to look at the code 
it generated.  Used lots of "strange" names for work fields in the generated 
programes.
