But it is an added expense, and an unnecessary one at that. Productivity
does not require GUI and GUI does not beget productivity. A good many
programmers, seem to have been highly productive for a good many years
before the advent of GUI.
Regardless of how difficult the move is, the cost is prohibitive. When
you consider the price you pay for RPG, SEU, and other green screen
utilities. The fact that you can go GUI is not the right reason to do
so.
