Maybe he is looking for something to work like a scroll bar...instead of paging one page at a time, he just wants it to move one record at a time...??? Just a guess. Date sent: Fri, 19 May 2000 10:53:42 -0400 Send reply to: RPG400-L@midrange.com Fabrizio, I'm still not clear. Is the word "automatically" the key word here? Do you want the subfile to scroll on the screen without having anybody press the paging keys? A novel concept, and it may be possible, using consecutive WRITEs of the subfile control record after incrementing / decrementing the SFLRCDNBR field. Perhaps also requiring a CL DLYJOB to keep the subfile from flashing by too quickly. Or, are you asking for a way to automatically position the subfile to the beginning or to the end of the subfile when displaying it on the screen? Again, the SFLRCDNBR display file DDS keyword. If neither of the above applies, ask again. We're sure to get it right one of these times. - Dan Bale > -----Original Message----- > From: Fabrizio Gurrieri [SMTP:fabrizio.gurrieri@bartolini.it] > Sent: Friday, May 19, 2000 8:22 AM > To: RPG400-L@midrange.com > Subject: Subfile question. > > Sorry, I make a mistake, I need to scroll Up and Down a subfile > respectly until the top or the bottom automatically. > > > Any suggestions??? > > Thanks +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
