I would never go back to using indicators to deal with a situation that (hopefully) will not often happen. Also how often do you need to know - you are normally going to have logic conditioned on the BIF all you have to do is watch which way it flows. On those occasions when I _have_ to know, or need to "force" a logic condition, I simply assign the BIF to a field and use that.
