There is an API to write to a user space if you're stuck in the OPM model.
However the pointers make more sense and are easier to read. For a good
example see page 165, section 5.3.4, of the redbook. Available online at:

Subject: User Spaces

I've got plenty of experience of using user spaces to retrieve
information from System APIs...

But has anyone tried to write procedures that write to a user-space
and is it actually possible?

        Regards,

        Gerry
