When I programmed on the S/1 (in 1980 - 1981), the OS was called Event
Driven Executive (EDX) and the programming language was Event Driven
Language (EDL). Maybe there was an APL compiler available, but I only
used EDL.

A very different paradigm then programming a S/3x in RPG!
