I'm trying to use the cpytoimpf command to copy an externally described file
to a csv file, but for some reason, it leaves the data in the csv file as
binary(I think) - it's unreadable. Running on V4R4. The input file contains
3 fields, and all are alpha.
Here's a copy of the command I entered:
 CPYTOIMPF FROMFILE(TEST/GLPG001) TOSTMF('glpg001.csv') MBROPT(*REPLACE)
 RCDDLM(*CRLF) DTAFMT(*DLM) STRDLM(' " ') FLDDLM(' , ')

After running the command, I get a completion message saying "All records
were copied...."

When I try to view the file thru notepad and another text editor, I see
this:
ãÅâã@@@kãÅâã@@@kãÅâã@@@@@@@@@@@kãÅâ%

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Mike Perez
