You don't need to.  If your 10-character field ABC contains '1234567890' and
you perform a:
     C                     EVAL     ABC = 'XYZ'
then ABC contains 'ABC       '.  EVAL automatically clears the result field
for you.

I'm trying to pad a field with blanks while I put the value of one field
into
another using the EVAL opcode.

What extensions within the () can I use in the "EVAL()" ?

I was hoping to be able to use a "P" like the MOVEL(P) opcode.

Any suggestions?
