I often use SEU with 80 columns for a multitude of reasons.
1) I keep multiple sessions up on the screen at once and 132 columns,
in a screen 1/4 of total screen size is small
2) In CL I use continuation lines like
/*
                                 +
 |
 |                                +
 |
 |                                +
*/
And those plus signs are off my 80 column screen. Therefore any editing
of comments doesn't move the plus signs around.

Alas, many people seem to be more comfortable with 80 columns. Some of our
programmers use SEU in 80 columns. Besides, Client Access emulation
defaults to 24x80; you have to tell it to use 27x132.
