Hi Rajeev,

They will only share the file pointer if you do an overide to the file
specifying SHARE(*YES).

All of the standard rules about shared ODPs are the same. This does not
change just because the file is now in two modules as opposed two
programs (even if the two modules are in the same program).

I think the point Kent was making was that you now have the choice of
specifying whether or not the shared ODP is scoped to the Activation
Group or the Job.
