 >> I am trying to use DFTACTGRP(*no) in the H-spec

Personally I think it is a bug, but I suspect if you report it it would be
answered as "Woriking as designed". The version that appears at the top of the
compiler listing shows the details as received from the CPP (i.e. what came in
from the CRTBNDRPG command). If you look further down the listing (after the H
spec) you'll see something like this:

  *-------------------------------------------------
  * Compiler Options in Effect:
  *-------------------------------------------------
  *  Text 'description' . . . . . . . :   Matching ......
  *  Generation severity level  . . . :   10
  *  Default activation group . . . . :   *NO
  *  Compiler options . . . . . . . . :   *XREF  .......

The Activation group (QILE) is also shown.

When they implemented the embedded directives option, they could have delayed
the printing of the compile headings until after the H spec was processed.
Instead it seems they chose to print it twice - once at the beginning and again
as modified by the H spec. I personally find this confusing and non-intuitive,
but it may have been a question of resource in the V4R2 release. If we're lucky
maybe they'll fix it and do it "right" in the future.

No matter what DSPPGM will always show you the correct AG etc.
