Gade, Now might be a good time to convert it to a printer file. On an impact printer, printing a line with space after 0 and printing it again usually "highlights" it. This is because the paper, carriage and platen all vibrate a bit, so the second impression doesn't fall exactly on top of the first one, so each character is a bit fatter (or blurrier if you want to think of it that way.) On a laser printer, the data is gathered into a buffer, and the entire page laid out in the printer's memory, so overstrikes essentially register in the exact same spot, ergo no highlighting. If you were to use a printer file and the HILIGHT keyword, OS/400 is smart enough to use a bolder font for you. It takes a lot of the hassle of print formatting, believe me. If you absolutely can't use DDS and are desperate to issue font change commands yourself, see Pete Hall's web site http://www.execpc.com/~pbhall/ Take the Programming link at the top, then the Barcoding link.
