Are you fixing, or writing new?  If it is all new the easiest way in my 
opinion is to define the fields as character fields in the CL and pass 
them as Parms to the RPG program.  Another easy way is to define the 
fields, but then place them in the LDA, which of course makes them 
available to the RPG program just by defining them in the RPG program.
