Hi, > How could i probably use a different data file library in an S36 > environment. When I work with a S/36 system in AS/400 I put the following lines at the top of every main procedure. FILEPROC // FILELIB NAME-?L'501,10'? FILEPROC is a procedure which decide which file library is used, and put it in local data area. In this way it is simple to test on, for instance, userid to use a test file library. The file library follow into sub-procedures. However I cannot put the FILELIB OCL inside the FILEPROC, because it does not follow outside the procedure. (Maybe this is possible with SESSION-YES, which Doug wrote about.) In some procedures I need an extra file library for certain files. Then I put an extra procedure at the top, like this: FILEPROC // FILELIB NAME-?L'501,10'? OVRPROC Inside OVRPROC I put overrides of those files with the extra file library. These overrides work also outside the procedure.
