× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Use the freeware tool RUNSQL. It uses a QMQRY query and passes the SQL
statement to it. All AS/400s can run this utility. I beleive News/400 has
this
available. It has been quite a while since I wrote a program to do a simple
update
like you are talking about.
