"Hey ! I thought Tononto wouldn't waste time providing functions
that were easy for us to create via Procedures??

Then how come the %SUBDTZ ???"

I don't think there's a way to code a procedure that will allow
     functionality like...

          EVAL %subdtz(DateField:*M) = 12

...or is there? If so, I want to know about it!!

It's too bad that Rochester (not Toronto the language people)
control 98 %
of what you're asking for. I don't think that they will even
acknowledge
that the Green screen exists anymore, let alone spend any
development
        dollars on it.

The phrase "When Hell Freezes over" comes to mind when
considering
the likelyhood of Green Screen (or CL) enhancements.

But you raise an interesting point (in a round about way).

Hey ! I thought Tononto wouldn't waste time providing
functions that were easy for us to create via Procedures??

Then how come the %SUBDTZ ???

        Now I would rather have.....................
