Thanks to you and Brad for pointing me into the right direction. But now I
have more questions....And I'm hoping for more insightful help... I guess
what I'm looking for is someone to hold my hand on the process.... Any
how...

What we have is an as/400 that's connected via TCP/IP to a NT server, that
handles are e-mail distribution. How do I set up the as/400 to send mail to
our NT box. Do I need to set up a mailserver on the 400? Or do I point to
the pop/smtp server on the NT box... I doubt I would ever have to receive
e-mail on the 400, i just need the ability to send it...

My end goal is this. Have the 400 send a message or a message with an
attachment to our user(s) when a job is done....using the qtmmsndm service
program.

So what type of configuration work do I need to do on the AS/400, to make
this all possible...
