How about Option #2 but incorporating Option #4 concept. i.e. Specifying the OPCODE is optional but if you do specify it, it gets prefixed to identify it as an OPCODE (not completely unlike the & in CL to identify a variable) Thereby clashes with variables or procedure names won't occur as they will not be prefixed. Trying to catch up on the messages on this list so not sure if this has been suggested yet. Going back to sleep now.
