Wrong ... Unless of course you mean that once RPG V comes out everyone
who switched to RPG IV will switch to RPG V.  This will leave the
diehard RPG II/III programmers and RPG V programmers.

The only thing that will kill RPG is the language not adapting to
changes fast enough.

When the CF specs come out I guess the dissenting programmers can form a
Fixed Formatters Society sort of like the Flat Earthers Society.
