No. Physical limitation of 32 files under a logical has been around
since the beginning of the S/38. If what you really want to do is what
you have described above, then no, don't hold your breath.

However, if what you want to do is merge the files into some keyed order
and process those records into an RPG program, the RPG Cycle and Match
Record logic will do that, without the 32 file limit.
