There are also a number of products (Monarch for Windows is the one I'm
familiar with, but by no means the only one) that will reformat your spooled
file into a spreadsheet, automatically creating the column headings,
stripping of the page headings and footers, correctly formatting numbers and
characters etc. etc.
Re-keying printed output is ridiculous. In Cagatay's situation I would
expect the payback period on Monarch or a similar product to be extremely
short.

If you add a CPYSPLF after creation of the spool files to copy the spool
files to a file. You can then use client access to bring the file down to
the PC. Or you could use FTP. If the spool file is a single line per
record this works very nicely.
