<If you need to pass a null terminated string to a "C" function,
use keyword OPTIONS(*STRING).  Or to use a null terminated
string as a normal RPG IV char field, use built-in function
%STR.

Will there EVER be a time on the AS/400 that X'00'(binary 00000000) does
not represent a null
character in the DB2/400(Universal DB2 for AS/400 or whatever the monicker
is today)
database? If so, when could this be useful?
