Yes, In rpg, if you do not code the file as a primary you can re-position
using setll any time.  The rpg does not know or care if you have used an
opnqryf and ovrdbf share(*yes) in the cl prior to calling the rpg.

When using the same OPNQRYF in two consecutive programs, I've always
used POSDBF *FIRST after the first program and before the second to
reposition the file to the beginning. Is this really neccessary or could I
use
a *LOVAL SETLL FILE in the second RPG and accomplish the same thing?
