Hello Bob, AFAIK the CRTBSCF command still exits but you need to have QSYS38 in your library list. PDM should at least attempt to prompt the CRTBSCF command for source type BSCF38. At some point Rochester is likely to drop support for the S/38 environment so a move to ICF is recommended. Regards, Simon Coulter. «»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«» «» FlyByNight Software AS/400 Technical Specialists «» «» Eclipse the competition - run your business on an IBM AS/400. «» «» «» «» Phone: +61 3 9419 0175 Mobile: +61 0411 091 400 «» «» Fax: +61 3 9419 0175 mailto: shc@flybynight.com.au «» «» «» «» Windoze should not be open at Warp speed. «» «»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«» //--- forwarded letter ------------------------------------------------------- > Date: Sat, 10 Jul 99 02:43:29 -0400 > From: "Bob Spinks" <rspinks@compuserve.com> > To: "RPG400-L" <RPG400-L@midrange.com> > Reply-To: RPG400-L@midrange.com > Subject: Bisync files > > I have a legacy application which uses BSC files > to communicate with a remote PC. > > I have gotten the current connection to work but > I need to create a duplicate of the BSC file to > connect to another device description/line/controller > on the AS/400 which will create a bisync connection > with the 2nd device. > > The file type is BSC, Not ICF. > > Was BSC38(which this src member is) supported > through a creation command at one time(looks > like this file was created many moons ago) and > not now and if so is there a work-around?
