ABSOFRIGGINGLUTELY!!

But you and I both know, Jon, that this is a practice of COBOL
programmers and embedded SQL users (who are generally not on the AS/400
platform).

Yes, there are probably quite a few who do it in rpg. Yeah, I can buy
that:

     c              endsr
