Dan, For my purpose, QCAPCMD worked out much better. It wanted to duplicate the processes of the user options in PDM with an application. So, when the user is setting up the option, in the command they can prompt and also enter variables such as &F for file, etc without it erroring out. QCMDCHK will error out. Kudos to Carsten for the help. Bradley V. Do you have an example of using that technique? >>Have a look at the Process Commands (QCAPCMD) api (Program & CL Command API's) - type of processing 8 is what you're looking for: User defined option. Please let me know if you need an RPG III or /IV template.<< - Dan Bale * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This is the RPG/400 Discussion Mailing List!
