There are hex codes buried in the line of code. In comment lines they may be
anywhere in the line, not just in columns 1-6. You can use some of the
programming techniques that others have suggested. Or, copy one of the lines
and delete stuff in the line until the attribute disappears. Then recopy the
line and delete again without deleting the character where the attribute
disappears. This is easier on a dumb terminal than on a PC. Dumb terminals
have special keys to display hex values, and to enter hex values. Anyways,
once you got this copied, then in SEU you can use the Overlay function to
overlay this line onto other lines. For example:
Columns . . . : 1 71 Edit ROUTINES/QCLSRC
SEU==> CLNDOMSVR
*************** Beginning of data *************************************
1231.00 /* Group Dekko Services, LLC */
1232.00 /* ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. */
1233.00 /* */
The following line is in reverse image, and we've deleted everything but the RI
hex code. We will use the SEU C operation to copy. Then we will use the SEU
OO
operation to overlay a section of code.
C234.00
OO35.00 /* */
1236.00 /* */
OO37.00 /* */

I have come across RPG400 programs where the SEU source lines are being
multi-coloured/highlighted& even reversed imaged.
How do you do this?
Thankyou.
