>>I have come across RPG400 programs where the SEU source lines are being multi-coloured/highlighted& even reversed imaged. How do you do this?<< There are a number of methods. The easiest is if you are using Client Access (not sure how recent a version it must be; I am using C.A. for Win95/NT version 3.1.3). If using C.A., I have a popup keypad that I can post, if anyone's interested; in it, I have every possible display attribute, from x'20' to x'3F', just click on one of them and, presto, you've "pasted" that display attribute wherever your cursor is. If you are using dumb terminal or other 5250 emulation that doesn't allow special macros like the one described above, you can create a source member (call it DSPLYATTRB) using RPG to write the hex code to a source record (one hex code per record, x'20' through x'3F'), then, when you are working on a source member in SEU and want to paste a display attribute, just F15 from the edit screen, and take option 1 to browse the DSPLYATTRB member, copy in the statement with the attribute you're looking for (or use a copy-overlay trick), and you can take it from there. In your case, you already have a source member with display attributes; you could just browse that member in your edit session and avoid creating the DSPLYATTRB member.
