FTP Sub-commands

Hi All
I've written some programs to facilitate the automation of pf's to be
downloaded to different FTP servers (NT Server 4.0)
Everything runs fine & the data is O.K.
Problem --->  When the FTP input file is executed, I have to disconnect,
change the NAMEFMT to 1 (so as to use /QDLS/x),
reconnect and then send the files.
Question ---> Is there any way to change to NAMEFMT 1 before connecting top
the different servers ?
