I do this all the time also. Steps that I take to FTP a file(s)/libs/etc from the 400 in Vienna to Oakbrook... I sign-on to Vienna. Create a save file somewhere. Save object(s) to my save file just created. DSPSAVF to verify if you want. Start my FTP session is DOS nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn (remote address) BINARY GET lib\savefile QUIT (ftp) At this point just do a DIR to see that the file is there and has data (bytes).... sometimes for some reason, it is not, repeat necessary steps above. Signon to my local 400. Create save file somewhere. Start my FTP session is DOS nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn (local address) BINARY PUT lib\savefile QUIT Again, DSPSAVF to verify if you want. Look ok? Then....... On the local 400 I then restore the savefile to wherever.... * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This is the RPG/400 Discussion Mailing List!
