I have prototyped procedures. You have to do a manual two step compile instead
of the automatic two step compile.
In other words, you have to use option 15 from SEU instead of 14. Then once
you have 15 done you have to use CRTPGM,
that is just CRTPGM. I didn't just type in part of the command.
When you use option 14, on an ILE program it does a two step compile. First it
compiles the program to QTEMP then it
binds it. Do a DSPPGM and look where the modules came from.

However, I'd like to see the DFTACTGRP anyways on the CRTSQLRPGI command. This
would take out the manual step.

Due to this fact (no DFTACTGRP parameter) you cannot use prototyped
procedures within an embedded SQL.
If someone knows how please indicate how to do so.
Thanks.

Can anyone think of popular options, available in CRTBNDRPG that are not in
CRTSQLRPGI? My gripe is DFTACTGRP.
