Hello, When you ask to influence the "system date" I assume you mean change the value found in the QDATE system value. If so, then that is the answer, No. If you are trying to change the date a single job sees as QDATE, then you need to capture or replace all requests for QDATE and supply another date. Any temporary changes to QDATE made by a job will effect what all jobs retrieve from QDATE. - HTH, - Steve Cotes > -----Original Message----- > From: Sharma Deepak [SMTP:deepak.sharma@kiosk.ch] > Sent: Wednesday, March 10, 1999 7:22 AM > To: 'query' > Subject: SYSTEM DATE > > Hello everyone, > > Could anyone give me an idea on how the system date could be influence > > without actually changing system value and/or without channging HLL > program. > > I am looking for some API's or some MI instructions/program which > could > help changing the system date temporarily. > > Thanks and Regards > Deepak Sharma > > * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This is the RPG/400 Discussion Mailing List!
