RPGIV Fans,

Anyone have any idea why the following would return different results?

     PProc B EXPORT
     DProc PI 4A
     DRtnCod DS
     D Int 10I 0 INZ(*ZEROS)
     C EVAL Int = 1
     C RETURN RtnCod
     PProc E

     PProc B EXPORT
     DProc PI 10I 0
     DInt 10I 0 INZ(*ZEROS)
     C EVAL Int = 1
     C RETURN Int
     PProc E

The first returns x'00000001' the second returns x'00000000' when called from a
CL program. Is this another implementation difference between the ILE
languages like the return value lengths must be greater than 2 for CL to RPGIV
calls?

Thanks,

David Morris
