Tony, The Convert Date and Time Format API (QWCCVTDT), documented in the System API Reference manual (Miscellaneous APIs chapter), will convert the *DTS format to a variety of other formats. I do not recommend it, but you can also fiddle with the bits by using the high order 42 bits where the 42nd bit increments every 1024 microseconds with a base time of Aug 23 1928 12:03:06.315. If you do this, ignore all bits after the 42nd as they will be set in what may appear to be an arbitrary fashion.
