Just a curiosity thing, I think. I showed her the job log while I was
trying to figure out an "issue", and she asked me about it. Fascinated, she
wondered if Windows had anything like that. Then so did I.

Both of us would, at best, qualify as novices in Windows. I'll check out
the Event Viewer and pass it along.

Nothing at all close (at least that *I* would consider "close").
Troubleshooting on a personal computer (which would apply to Linux and
Mac as well) is a completely different animal than on IBM i. You may
be able to get better help if you can be more specific about what your
friend is trying to find out.
