Hi David,

Don't know if you've found a replacement yet, but I've been very happy with
my Synology NAS, even though it's either their entry-level line or close to
it. I know they have a lot of models with 4 bays or more. Can't answer
whether they offer the other features you mentioned. This is my second
NAS, BTW, after a really disappointing experience with WD's Live Book Duo
NAS.

Folks:

My ancient ReadyNAS NV+ has finally give up its ghost.

I’m looking for something to replace it.

I need at least 4 bays, failure protection, time machine support, and
obviously windows & Mac file share support.

I’d prefer to get something disk less, so I can start out small and
increase storage as I need. Ideally a product that can support different
disk sizes and use all the space available.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

David
