My sources tell me it's not a clean upgrade. Primarily it has problems with
VPN clients, but also many pieces of software need to be upgraded. I'm in
the same boat, so we decided to replace the desktop units with new ones
loaded with Win10 Pro and let the users migrate the data over.

Subject: [PCTECH] In place Windows 7 -> 10 upgrade?

Folks:

I've been resisting Windows 10 for a long time ... but our IT department has
determined that we have to upgrade (due to MS stopping updates to Win 7).

How reliable is an in-place Win 7 to 10 upgrade?

I'm specifically concerned about RDi. I have 5 copies of RDi installed
(different versions, so I can test my plug-in).

Thanks!

david
