The sticker says it's 10.1.10.1, but I cannot get to the web page.
I've tried preceding it with http:// and https://. No joy. It says
"10.1.10.1 took too long to respond." But I can ping 10.1.10.1 and
get a response.

What IP is your workstation being assigned? Is it in the 10.x.x.x block?

If not, then the default IP of the cable modem might have been changed.

The cable modem does not do DHCP or DNS. Does this mean it's in
"bridge mode"? Is this why I cannot reach that web page?

How are IP's assigned & what DNS server do you use?
