Good News Everybody!

A new search engine is coming soon.

As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Use Ghost or Acronis to image the drive or replicate the drive first.

Then put the drive in and see what happens.

Will either work or it won't :-)

subject: [PCTECH] Dell swap hard drive E6400 to E6500

All,

A salesrep has a Dell E6500 that's acting up on him. Shuts down intermittently. I have a couple of spare Dell E6400s in the office. From what I see online, the drives are /physically/ interchangeable. What might I run into by swapping the drives later this week? Will Windows install new drivers for whatever other hardware differences there are?

Thanks.
