I still have not resolved this. I'm also having the same issue with my new
64-bit desktop. And I have confirmed that both the 64-bit and 32-bit
patches from MS have been installed. There must be something else but I
sure can't find out what.
Not having a good day here. Even got held up by a train. :)

I have downloaded vcredist_x86 (they're 32-bit laptops), run it,
and it did not help. Same error.
What am I missing?
