Thanks for the suggestion. It's not really the transfer request but the
file being downloaded that's the issue. The original transfer put the file
in the C:\. That said, when I ran the request, it told me I couldn't put it
there and offered a suggestion. But that is only the first step: the second
step sends the file to a wholesale clearinghouse, and I could not figure out
there set up to tell it that the file was in a different location
(directory). I *think* (and that's a big question mark) that if we could
get the processes to "Run as Administrator" that everything would be kosher.
So far no go on that one, but we'll keep trying.

The other problem, which is of my own creation, is that I thought it would
be a *simple* task to just tell the PC that the user could put things in the
root (C:\) and it went off and did - well, I don't know what. Now the Data
Transfer Request dies with something (I'm dealing from memory with parity
errors) like "Not authorized to privileged function."

In the meantime the company still has the original PC with XP with which
they can do the transfer. They only acquired the new, Win7 PC because the
boss' son told them that the old one was starting to go bad. I'm not a PC
expert (obviously), but I think he was on another bender when he came up
with that diagnosis. We can get around the Win7 problem by utilizing the
old XP PC and, if that goes back, a backup PC (my old one). Hell, if worse
comes to worse, I can do both functions from my PC at home. I just think
that's getting just a little bit convoluted.
