I'm loving the HP dv7-6195us that i now lug around - 17 inch, 1TB, 8
core i7 intel, 8GB memory - it's the entertainment-directed, has
separate graphics card - Radeon HD 6770M - my son is intensely envious.
Seeing a used one on ebay for just under 900 - needs power cord - has
9-cell battery, long battery life. New ones are between 1100 and 1200
The one thing that really irritates me is the absolutely stupid choice
to put Ins on the keyboard as an Fn key over prt sc - sheesh!! No way to
flip it as you can do with regular Fxx keys.
Oh, and it has a separate numeric keypad - and it IS heavy!!
Oh yeah, really nice sound - even has a subwoofer of sorts underneath
