I think you may be on to something, especially with this being Terminal
Services. Maybe someone kicked off the update but their profile lacked the
authority to do the install.

All,

Had a bizarre one.

W2003 Server, virtual, in a terminal services environment.
Overnight
Firefox disappeared. Users shortcuts quit working, firefox.exe does
not
exist on that server, and Firefox does not show up in add/remove
programs.
It's as if someone uninstalled it.

I reinstalled and everyone's settings are intact. Homepage,
bookmarks,
etc. Windows event viewers don't show anything.

Anyone seen anything like this? Is there someplace it's logged if a
program
is uninstalled?
