work for a national lab. We were discussing application health
monitoring and their line was "let's just say that we see hack attempts
_regularly_ from china" that they needed to report to their
cyber-security department.

I was not laughing. The ;-) related to another thread about 2 or 3 days ago,
where the Henan Province in China popped up (about Hacking, Telnet and such).
