HA...Palm has a little room off to the side of things with guards watching
the door...it's by invitation only...and it really sucks how they're
handling it...

Also, Lenova doesn't have any floor space. IBM's presence is totally
limited to two people in a room trying to sell services...and trying to stay
awake...

BUT, there is some very interesting stuff here... In terms of square
footage, I'd say it's probably easily 70% PLUS Asian companies. That's not
scientific, just calibrated eyeball.

Expect 3D HD to replace regular HD as a matter of normal. Some of the
eyeglass video monitors in 3D and regular are very nice. Intel's 3D stuff
is amazing. Sony was very disappointing with their lack of technical people
here. Toshiba is well staffed and their tablet is very impressive. HP OK.
They brought the 2727 multipurpose unit which is a solid piece of
equiptment...and some other stuff.

I've got enough stuff to now get serious on the consumer electronics side of
my product evals...next step is to bring the iseries/pSeries products online
as well...

Whisper numbers on the floor is probably less than 80k REAL
attendees...there is no waiting in lines per se and the aisles are not
crowded at all.

And the view of the mountains from my room is really nice... :)

Have they actualy shown you a Palm Pre? From what I've read, it sounds
pretty good. Hope Verizon gets it soon.

Don't know if anybody cares, but the Windows 7 beta download is working
again.
And product keys are still being handed out as of Sunday morning at 9am
EST.
