In our environment Outlook defaults to Rich Text & I don't really change it. But some email threads become HTML or Plain Text depending on the email client. Once a BlackBerry gets in the mix, for instance, the thread usually drops to plain text.

Subject: [PCTECH] Message formats for Microsoft Outlook Poll
Poll: If you're an Outlook user, do use send messages in HTML, Rich Text or Plain text? What do you perceive the advantages of the format you're using?
Myself, I go back and forth between HTML and RTF. With HTML, I can select files which have the same file name and dump them somewhere and it will append to the file name where as RTF won't. On the other hand, I think RTF looks better.
