Good to know. I have tended to go with Magellan units in the past, but
was looking at the Garmin Colorado series.

I've had good luck with my Garmin GPSMAP 76CSx. Use it primarily for
geocaching. Good display, good battery life, very fast satellite
acquisition, and accurate. It is a bit bulky for hiking. However,
Garmin's financial stability would certainly be a factor.
