It sounds like to me he is talking about a Windows password via the Windows
Lock Computer command. And there are programs out there to break Windows
passwords but that would require rebooting the PC and at that point you've
knocked them off anyway...

Subject: [PCTECH] Finding User ID passwords

Hello everyone,

I am new hereto this list. I am usually on the Midrange list, RPG, etc...

I have a problem with some of our Users signed on to the network, locking
their computer, and then walking away. Some of the jobs they are sitting
on are tying up and conflicting with other jobs that other Users are
running.

Is there any software out there that will allow me to see their password?
I can go into UsrMgr and change their password, but can not see it.

TIA,

Nick
