What a bunch of crap all the way around. What the heck it MS doing
"breaking" such a key piece of software and what's the tape drive
manufacturer thinking (i.e. giving up the WS08 market) ?
We are going to upgrade to 12 way before then anyway so I'd guess we would
be OK ?

Actually NOT OK. 11d does not work on WS08. That was what the tape drive
manufacturer supplied. And now they say that they are not getting 12 to
provide to people who upgrade their server or are buying a new drive for
WS08.
